The MoU marks an early step toward the development of environmental and social projects in Iraq that aim to support the energy transition, help offset carbon emissions, and contribute to environmental restoration.

Under the agreement, Everpath will support the development of environmental credit initiatives, including projects that may generate carbon credits and renewable energy certificates, working alongside BB Energy and GCCE.

Everpath supports BB Energy’s environmental credits activity and broader sustainability initiatives. The collaboration brings together GCCE’s national mandate with BB Energy’s long-standing experience in the region.

Everpath thanks His Excellency Mohammed Shia Al Sudani, Prime Minister of Iraq, and the organisers of the Conference on Carbon Economics for hosting a successful inaugural event.
